Señor Presidente de los Estados Unidos, los Animalistas cubanos le
escribimos para pedirle que elimine de una vez el bloqueo que por más de seis
décadas su país le ha impuesto a Cuba y les ha limitado la vida a los ciudadanos
cubanos. Es una petición razonable que en estos momentos muchas personas en el
mundo están solicitando de una forma u otra, y creo que debe ser escuchada por
quienes tienen el poder en sus manos de tomar esa decisión y un pensamiento
inteligente. Son momentos de cambios y de tender puentes, no de crear odios ni
fomentar guerras estúpidas. Basta ya es la idea y es la consigna que se
enarbola en cada caravana contra el bloqueo que cruza nuestros paisajes.
Sabemos que en momentos de crisis algunos luchan por encontrar soluciones, pero
hay otros que siempre buscan la manera de echarle la culpa a alguien, no sea

Letter to President Joe Biden
Mr. President of the United States, we Cuban Animalists are writing to ask
you to eliminate once and for all the blockade that your country has imposed on
Cuba for more than six decades and has limited the lives of Cuban citizens. It
is a reasonable request that at the moment many people in the world are
requesting in one way or another, and I believe that it should be heard by
those who have the power in their hands to make that decision and intelligent
thinking. These are times of change and of building bridges, not of creating
hatred or fomenting stupid wars. Enough is the idea and it is the slogan that
is raised in each caravan against the blockade that crosses our landscapes. We
know that in times of crisis, some struggle to find solutions, but there are
others who are always looking for a way to blame someone, not you. Thank you
